Hi,

Has anyone ever seen or heard of these? It's an 8 channel preamp/mixer with individual outputs for each preamp and switchable phantom power for each channel. Just curious as to the quality of this? Thanks.

Do you mean 1678B?

No. The front panel says Model 167B. There are 8 mic inputs, and a single master pot with mono out. Each mic input has a direct out and separate phantom switches, and line/mic switch. No metering, except for what looks like a clip light on each mic channel. Thanks.

If you'll look carefully, that "B" is actually an "*".

The 1678 is an automatic microphone mixer. The series went from the basic 1678 all the way to the Model 1678C, which was the best of the series.

Sonically, they are quite good, but not on a level with a top-of-the-line professional mixing console, though,
